Under the Tree

This is a film with African drums .
It’s Saturday in Kpando-Aziave, Volta Region, Ghana.
The people of Kpando has a hard life but their hearts and souls are full of joy.
"Under the Tree" is a short film that tries to tell this on screen.
It’s afternoon and two men with big drums starts to play under a tree. A warrior meets up and starts to dance.
At the same time lives goes on all around them. Then more men comes to the spot under the tree, they have their drums and their voices.
People starts to gathering. The women with their colourful clothes joins up, more people come by and then everybody is playing, singing and dancing.

Filmmaker Runar Enberg has previous made films like "Skerry Fairy-Tale", "Days by the River", "A Fur Story",
"Holding Hands", "Boogaloo Road" and others. He has produced TV-programs such as prize winning "A Heaven in a Mosquitos Nest" and several sequels to the Millennium TV-broadcasting to 52 counties.
